Terms and Regulations
The hereby Terms and Regulations is the Agreement concluded between You and “Newlight” Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company” or “newlight.ge”), establishing the general terms and regulations to regulate the issues related to the use of the hereof website (www.newlight.ge) and the acquisition of the products uploaded thereon.
The Administration of Newlight.ge reserves the right to, without the further additional consent of the user, unilaterally, through the publication on the hereof website, introduce changes (amend or change) to the hereof terms and regulations any time.
1. Description of Terms:
The terms provided in the hereby Terms and Regulations have the meanings as follows, other than the events, if the context provides otherwise:
1.1.1. Account – means the account registered by the user on the website;
1.1.2. Authorization – means the access of the user to his/her personal account;
1.1.3. Terms of Use – means the hereby Terms in aggregation with any other rules and/or terms, considered by respective reference as an integral part of the hereby Terms and Regulations and regulating the access and use of the website by the user, including in regards with any context, function and service offered at the website;
1.1.4. Website – means Newlight.ge through which the product/service is offered;
1.1.5. User – a legal entity or natural person meeting the requirements stipulated under the hereby Terms and Regulations and willing to acquire the product of the company via Newlight.ge platform;
1.1.6. The company, Newlight Ltd., Newlight.ge, registered in line with the legislation of Georgia (registered on 18/10/1999, Tax ID: №202066156, legal address: N25A, Al. Kazbegi Avenue, Tbilisi);
1.1.7. User, Users – means the users registered on Newlight.ge website;
1.1.8. Parties – means the Company and its users;
1.1.9. Newlight.ge platform – means the operable platform of Newlight.ge, which without limitations, includes the Newlight.ge website or other alternative channels;
1.1.10. Operation – means any action/operation made by the user through the access to his/her personal accounts and/or website and/or through the website;
1.1.11. Access code(s) – means codes, passwords, user name, identification code, universal identifiers and/or other confidential information that Newlight.ge may deliver to the user for his/her access to various services;
1.1.12. Supply, supplied – means the status of accessibility to the product, purposed for the online shop solely and not providing information about the supplies of any physical branches of the Company.
2. Registered Universal Identifiers
2.1. User name – one of the parameters envisaged in the automatic mood by the central identification system, necessary for the authorization and access to the remote services;
2.2. Password - one of the parameters, necessary for the authorization and access to the centralized remote services, which is determined by the user upon registration in the centralized identification system via the remote service channel(s) selected by Newlight.ge or other communication means. The password shall be subject to further update/change at the discretion of the user;
2.3. Cellphone number – telephone number, indicated by the user upon registration as his/her telephone number to receive the one-time access codes and passwords (if such) for the operations envisaged by the centralized remote service;
2.4. Personal number of the user – identification number;
2.5. E-mail of the user – unique identifier and e-mail address, indicated by the user upon registration as his/her e-mail address to receive the access codes and passwords for the operations envisaged by the centralized remote service or other information/notifications related to the website;
2.6. The Company, in view of improvement of services and/or security reasons, may establish additional or different user identifiers.
3. Authorization
3.1. The user, after registration of the account, shall pass authorization to enjoy the full capacity of the website;
3.2. Authorization shall be ensured by means of the universal identifiers of the user.
4. Selection, Order and Receipt of the desired product by the User
4.1. The user, with or without authorization, is entitled to have access to various information and place an order by means of the navigation menu on the website;
4.2. The user, using the search or navigation menu, selects the desired product category and is allowed to filter the data according to the price category, product specifications and/or other data;
4.3. The user can acquire the product by adding the desired item to the Cart and by proceeding to the purchase by opening the payment page;
4.4. The user is provided with the options of payment on the payment page;
4.5. The user receives information about the item, or transportation costs and terms on the payment page;
4.6. Upon placing an order on the website, you declare and guarantee that you are of the full legal age (18 or over) and hold the legal capacity to independently conclude agreements.
5. Settlement between Newlight.ge and User
In case of a remote purchase, Newlight provides you with options of payment:
- Plastic card (Amex, Visa, Mastercard);
- Online installments (Bank of Georgia, TBC Bank);
- Bank transfer (based on the invoice).

6. Product Delivery
6.1. Delivery term: within the term of 2-7 days upon the transfer of the sum to the account of the Company;
6.2. Delivery service price to the cities: Tbilisi, Batumi, Mtskheta:
- 10 GEL for up to 50 GEL purchase;
- Free for the purchase of 50 GEL and over.
6.3. Delivery service price countrywide (except Tbilisi, Batumi, Mtskheta):
The price shall be calculated automatically according to the capacity/mass of the product in the Cart and the delivery address indicated by a buyer in an individual manner.
6.4. The user shall, immediately upon the receipt of the product, check the delivered product in presence of the courier and in case if the item(s) are damaged or delivered in an amount less than ordered and/or of incomplete kitting, the user shall along with the authorized representative of the Post Office, conclude a respective act, which shall be signed by both, representative of the Post Office and the user. Otherwise, the forwarding company and “Newlight” Ltd. are empowered not to assume the responsibility.
7. Warranty
Warranty terms (for the lightning products):
- Lamps (except the LED belts) – 2 years upon the purchase;
- LED bulbs – 2 years upon the purchase.
Warranty terms (for the furniture):
- Carcass furniture of European brands (cupboard type furniture and beds) – 5 years upon the purchase;
- Turkish and Asian carcass furniture (cupboard type furniture and beds) – 5 years upon the purchase;
- Soft furniture – 2 years upon purchase;
- Chairs – 2 years upon purchase;
- Mattress – 2 years upon purchase;
- Garden furniture – 1 year upon purchase.
The warranty shall not apply:
In the event of the physical damage and/or improper installment of the item, and/or the damage caused by the misuse or improper exploitation terms inasmuch as the defects detected during the warranty period imply the defects detected within the warranty period regardless of the normal use and exploitation terms (providing the natural wear), such are – in case of the furniture, mechanism derangement, deformation of carcass etc. or disorder of the lamp/bulb when lighted.
Formal rules for the use of warranty:
- In view of confirmation of the right of the user to enjoy the warranty terms, the user shall submit the document certifying the purchase of the product along with the ID the validity of which shall be in compliance with the warranty term of a certain item;
- In case of a defect detected within a warranty period, the seller shall, within a reasonable term, eliminate the defect.

8. Replacement and return policy in case of purchase of items through a webpage:
Issues of elimination of a defect/deficiency of the product subject to warranty terms and conditions (see warranty terms and conditions) are governed by the respective guarantee service.
A customer has a right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 (fourteen) calendar days without specifying any grounds. Withdrawal from the agreement expires 14 [fourteen] days from the moment when a customer or a third person defined by the customer receives the purchased product into physical/actual ownership and if there are several items in one order which is sent separately, withdrawal from the agreement expires 14 [fourteen] days from the moment when a customer or an authorized third person receives the last item of such order into physical/actual ownership.
To exercise the right of termination of the agreement, the customer shall send a notice to email address: orders@newlight.ge, specifying his/her decision to withdraw from the agreement. The customer may use an agreement termination form attached to these Terms and Conditions as an annex, but it is not mandatory to use this form. To use the right of termination of the agreement (withdrawal from the agreement), the customer shall send a notice [on exercising the right] prior to expiry of the above 14-day term. The customer shall specify the following information in the notice on termination of the agreement:
- Date of order
- Date of receiving an order
- Customer name and surname
- Customer address
- Date of filling in the form (in case of filling in the form)
In case of withdrawal from the Agreement, the customer shall be obliged to immediately, but not later than 7 (seven) days after giving a notice on withdrawal from the agreement to NEW LIGHT, return the item to NEW LIGHT at his/her (the customer’s) own expense to the address: 199, Agmashenebeli Valley, Tbilisi, on business days [Monday-Friday, between 10.00 am and 6.00 pm].
The item must not be used and must be in the initial condition as when received by the customer, considering the initial packaging and the marketable appearance.
In case the customer withdraws from the agreement, he/she shall not be obliged to bear any expenses [including, delivery expenses], except expenses related to return of the item, as well as except the case when the customer chose delivery services more expensive than the standard offered delivery service or if the item price was reduced as a result of use which is not related to establishment of the nature, characteristics and performance of the item.
The paid amount, as well as the amount paid for indemnification of delivery expenses [if any] shall be fully refunded to the customer, not later than 14 calendar days after receiving the notice on withdrawal from the agreement, excluding the amount paid for indemnification of additional expenses related to choosing by the customer non-standard delivery services or more expensive delivery service than offered by the Seller; NEW LIGHT reserves a right to suspend refunding of the amount to the customer, until the item[s] are returned.
The amount shall be refunded to the customer by the same method of payment as used by the customer, unless the customer gives consent to use another payment method.

The following products shall not be subject to replacement/return:
Electric wires, diode tapes, aluminum shapes if procurement is customized, which implies sale by meters, instead of entire packaging.
9. Confidentiality
9.1. The account details of the user: for the purpose of the hereby confidentiality policy, upon the opening of the account by the user and use of services, the user can be required to submit certain personal data, such are: name and last name, personal number, e-mail, an actual address and phone number.
The user, upon registration on the website and/or placing an order, after reading the terms and conditions uploaded on the website, confirms that he/she agrees with the confidentiality policy. The user also confirms that the information he/she has provided is true and accurate, was provided by his/her will and based on all rights and permits stipulated under the legislation.
The company is entitled to have access to the personal data of the user to the extent shared by the user or obtained by the company by means available in the service provision process.
Existing records (Cookies): newlight.ge uses Cookies and similar technologies in view of personalization and improvement of the customer experience. Cookies are being collected for the user on the websites of Newlight.ge and other remote platforms in view of simplification of navigation, offering the desired format of the information, improvement of search parameters, safe authorization of the user, marketing, website design optimization and better adaptation of the user.
At that, the card information upon the payment on the website is not stored on the website as the payment is being ensured on the safe server of the partner banks of the company. Hence, newlight has no access to the card information of the user.
By acknowledging and agreeing with the hereof terms, the user entitles “Newlight” Ltd. to receive, process and store the user information, including the personal data, as well as the delivery for the purpose, such are the customer relations, order reception/processing, increase of intensity of the use of the website, meeting the requirements of the users, business development, development of effective marketing activities, development/management of company brands, products and services, product and service provision, user payment management, implementation of the respective laws and regulations, effective response to the complaints and solutions thereto, management of the risks of the company and its clients, effective business management, including the financial position of the company, business capacity, planning, communications and corporate governance, and fulfillment of the assumed duties and powers.
The company takes care of the protection of personal data and protects the confidentiality of the user in line with the applicable law.
Despite that in view of the informative safety, the company undertakes all necessary measures, still, it does not assume the responsibility due to the rapid technological development, for the actions of the persons exercising unauthorized access, misusing or hacking the services etc. The company does not issue a clear, implied or another guarantee other than to undertake every possible measure to prevent unauthorized penetration.
Time after time, the confidentiality policy may be revised. In case when the confidentiality policy is being amended or modified, the company shall publish the hereof changes on the website. The modified confidentiality policy becomes effective upon the promulgation on the website. The user carries the responsibility to, on an intermittent basis, visit the website and get cognizant of the modifications of the policy. After the amendment of the policy, provision of the company with information by the user or the use of the website means that the user agrees with the changes.
The user is entitled to inquire about the copy of the information about him/her processed by the company.
The user is entitled to require the modification, update, completion, blocking, deletion or destruction of his/her personal data if the data is incomplete, inaccurate or outdated, or if the data has been obtained and processed in confrontation with the law. Newlight.ge acts in line with the legislation of Georgia, which can serve as an impediment to immediately delete the personal data of the user. Such obligations may derive from the Tax Code, Law on Consumer Rights and/or other applicable laws.
The obligation of the company to provide the user with information obtained/stored about him/her emerges in case of the claim of the user.
The company holds the legal basis of the use of the user information, which implies the existence of the business-related and/or commercial purpose. It is important that in such a case, the procession of information by the company is not directed to prejudice to the interests of the user.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:
10.1. The hereby Terms and Regulations shall be governed and interpreted in line with the legislation of Georgia;
10.2. Any dispute related to these Terms or implementation thereof, or any discords between the parties shall be resolved amicably;
10.3. In the event, if the Parties fail to resolve the dispute amicably within the term of 30 (thirty) calendar days, they thus express their unconditional consent to resort to other dispute resolution means as prescribed under the legislation of Georgia
11. Auction
11.1. To participate in the auction, the customer must be registered/authorized.
11.2. The starting price of the product participating in the auction is defined individually, based on the product condition.
11.3. The auction step shall be defined individually, depending on the product.
11.4. Each customer participating in the auction shall receive information about progress of the action to the email address specified during the registration.
11.5. Customer shall be obliged to pay the cost of the item within 1 business days after winning the auction. After expiry of this term, the auction results are cancelled and the NEW LIGHT shall be authorized to sell the item [including, through an auction].
11.6. Information of each customer participating in the auction is confidential.
11.7. Any person can watch the auction on the webpage of each product.
11.8. The customer can purchase the product participating in the auction before finalization of the auction, at the price established by the company in advance, regardless of the period of time left until finalization of the auction.
11.9 In case of the action defined by the provision of paragraph 11, each participant of the auction will receive a notice on the product sale at the email address [if any] specified during registration at: www.newlight.ge.
11.10. In case of the action defined by the provision of paragraph 11.8, the prices shown by customers participating in this auction are annulled.
